"Liminality": Minru's new release

Soporific excellence from Swedish musician

Minru is the project of Berlin-based, Swedish musician Caroline Blomqvist. A testament to a loss which gently permeates this reflective album’s tone, Liminality commences with a surging wave of sound, unfurling a set of songs that combine a folk sensibility with subtle synths and strings. 

The resultant blend works particularly impressively on tracks such as In Between, Will I Ever Find and the pensive Light End, where the synths add a spectral beauty. 

Blomqvist's distinctive, crystalline voice is an instrument in its own right and provides emotional impact throughout, including the sculpted soundscapes of Into The Well and Metamorphose.
