Led by singer/multi-instrumentalist Ani Guillén, Argovia possess a style that positions the group in the realm of Riverside or The Gathering.
While Haken's Ross Jennings makes a guest appearance on the song Ebb & Flow, this Bogota quartet don't share the Brits' proclivity for prog metal, preferring to be led on their third album by synths rather than acerbic, heavy guitars.

Ani Guillén has a strong voice with a clean tone unsullied by distortion and the musicianship is impressive throughout without distracting from the songwriting. Nicolas Paredes on bass and drummer Mauricio Sanabria keep the rhythms flowing smoothly while navigating the syncopated grooves and odd time measures of Mountains and Unstoppable.

Alos De Sal features the album's second guest spot from Colombian duo Boca de Serpiente, with vigorous soloing from Carlos Arminio on keyboards.
If there's a criticism, it's that the production is a little smooth and the mix is very compressed, which threatens to squeeze the dynamics. The ideas and playing are strong enough to benefit from a little more room to breathe.
